On 30 April 2026, in the field of the European Sustainable Energy Week 2026, 4 projects including REGEN hosted the online debate “From Challenges to Change: Rethinking Energy Supply in Europe”.

The session brought together experts from across Europe to discuss inclusive and scalable solutions to tackle energy poverty and accelerate the energy transition.

Speakers highlighted the importance of integrated approaches linking energy, buildings, mobility, and climate adaptation, while stressing that successful transition also depends on stakeholder engagement, behavioural change, and strong community participation.

The discussion also underlined the need for better coordination across governance levels and supportive policy frameworks to enable local action and scale up solutions.
