From 7 to 11 July 2025, the 12th International Conference on Urban Climate (ICUC12) took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, offering a hybrid format for participants both onsite and online.

Organized by the International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC), the American Meteorological Society (AMS), and the local organizing committee, the conference brought together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world to explore the complex interactions between urban environments and climate challenges.


Engaging discussions on urban resilience and climate

Our partner, DEMO, actively participated in informal discussions and after-session networking focused on urban planning, resilience, and climate twins. These interactions highlighted the role of REGEN initiatives in promoting urban resilience, with particular attention to heritage preservation and climate adaptation strategies.
