It happened on the last 19th November, in Brussels !
REGEN, alongside 30 other initiatives funded under the #Built4People Co-programmed Public-Private Partnership, was represented in a special networking event organized by #NebulaB4P at CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency).
It was an opportunity for participants to exchange insights and strengthen collaboration among projects supported by Horizon Europe, with a focus on efficient, sustainable, and inclusive energy use .
Sylvain, REGEN’s coordinator, was also there, representing the project alongside other experts and partners.
The event kicked off with welcome addresses from Matthias Langemeyer (CINEA) and Mathieu Daloze (DG ENER), followed by a comprehensive presentation of the Built4People Partnership and the Innovation Clusters (B4PICs), led by ECTP (European Construction and Sustainable Built Environment Technology Platform) and the World Green Building Council.
Participants then engaged in breakout sessions focused on key topics :
- Digital solutions for building operations
- Creating inclusive and resilient environments
- Renovation for low-emission buildings
The event continued with an open forum discussion, followed by a roundtable session led by Eleftherios Bourdakis, Ines Diaz Regodon, and Pau Rey Garcia from CINEA, where key takeaways from the breakout sessions were shared.
Finally, Gordon Sutherland (CINEA) wanted to conclude by emphasizing the importance of these gatherings in fostering knowledge exchange and promoting innovative solutions for sustainable construction
REGEN activities contribute to this EU-wide initiative, by tangibly supporting regeneration of neighbourhoods in Luxembourg, Italy, Spain and Ireland through citizen engagement. It rolls-out a holistic assessment framework together with digital tools enabling the ongoing environmental transition.
